Exact dates are still to be confirmed, but Bilbao Bizkaia Pride typically falls in mid-June and draws around 50,000 people to the Basque capital each year.

The event is centred around Bilbao Pride Stage at the Arenal, with shows and performances running nightly from 8pm across the weekend.

The highlight is the parade, which takes the form of a flotilla of decorated boats leaving from the estuary at Pio Baroja on the Saturday at 17:30 and continuing along the river. The Bilbao Gala Drag on the Friday evening is also well worth catching.

Other events include a Football Championship, a family day and a Brunch for Diversity as part of the Gastronomic Route. One of the most distinctive Pride events in Spain.
