Locally known as Rivolta Pride, thousands gather to march through the streets of this historic Italian city. The event kicks off at Giardini Margherita at 3:30 PM, with the parade starting at 5:00 PM. The march will wind its way through Bologna’s charming streets, culminating in an unforgettable festival at Parco della Montagnola.

Rivolta Pride Parade

The Bologna Pride Parade begins at Giardini Margherita at 3:30 PM, with the procession starting at 5:00 PM. The route will enter the city center from Porta Santo Stefano, turn onto Via Santo Stefano, and continue down Via Dante before heading north on Viale Giosuè Carducci. The parade will culminate with a final stretch into Montagnola Park, entering through the second ramp of Via Irnerio.

This 3 km route is fully accessible for people in wheelchairs, ensuring that everyone can join in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights. There will be staff to help assist people in wheelchairs navigate the long entrance ramp. The parade will feature seven floats, including a special float dedicated to climate change activism.

Post-Parade Celebration: Music, Drag, and Community

After the parade, head over to Parco della Montagnola for an evening of music, drag performances, and community bonding. Expect ballroom culture shows and drag queen performances. The celebrations conclude with an electrifying live set from Godblesscomputers.
