Dallas Pride: How Texas’ Largest LGBTQ+ Celebration Became a Year-Round Movement

Dallas hosts the largest Pride celebration in Texas and one of the largest LGBTQ+ communities in the United States. What began with roughly 300 marchers in 1972 has grown into a major Pride festival drawing more than 50,000 attendees each June.
